@Anonymous, you cannot purchase it using your existing paymate account, you can only use netbanking and credit card to purchase.
New users do not try this until Monday as you get a 3 digit pin where as a 4 digit one is required So do not try this until the issue is solved

@Gaurav Narula, as far as from my knowledge, your existing voucher in giftmate will not be affected if you use this offer, that will be available to till its own validity period, i hope this clears your doubt.
today i topup my existing giftmate with 1000/- but it charges to my cc 1000/- and i got only 1000/- gift voucher to my account; here i charged full amount; any one clarify.. pllsss

Don't worry about the 3-digit PIN. The 4-digit PIN is sent to you mail ID as soon as you pay, so that's not a problem.

There is some sort of confusion going on here it seems. @sudha, you cannot avail this offer to topup your existing giftmate account, you need to freshly add more amount in your giftmate rather than topping up. While paying for it you shouldn't have paid the full amount, since you came to know that they are charging the full amount!!!
Regarding the 3 digit pin number, i am not as sure about this, as i came to know about this only through Shripad.
And regarding topping-up issue, it is better to clear up all your existing amount in your giftmate by using it for purchases and then try it freshly to add the amount to your account through the appropriate link given in my post, don't add amount through some other links, as it might not work!!

I filled in the mob number, email id and selected the amount of Rs. 1000 for 500.
On the second page, it asked for the billing address, shipping address and credit card details etc. and clicked submit button.
it said it is redirecting to payment gateway and after that giftmate page displayed, "Error while transacting". I did not get any msg nor a mail to the email id. I checked with my cc and found that the amt got deducted.
Can anyone let me know if you faced this kind of problem. What should happen upon submitting the second page where we filled all the adress and cc details?

Why giftmate voucher is not working from part 4 days?
i too faced similar prob.. 1000rs deducted from my bank account but dint get 2000 in my GM a/c. made a complaint. dono wats gonna happen! i must not loose money .:(
I also suffering from that problem money deducted from my account but my paymate account still not recharge.

Yes you can, if the product you want to buy is available at Indiaplaza.in. Buy 2 seperate Gift certificates from Indiaplaza. You can use both simultaneously at checkout. Also each gift certificate will come with a validity of 3 months.

I called up ICICI card division, they say that the transactions done with ccavenue is declined and I am not charged for that.. but I have already received few products that I had purchased from sify.. that possibly means that I have not been charged a single penny for purchases??

If the item you want to buy is available on Indiaplaza.in, you can order two gift certificates separately and combine them.
i feel u wont charged Rs 500 even for buying 1000 voucher because giftmate have to claim 500rs from credit card within 12 days otherwise they lost their money.
