It is still in beta phase and have not yet opened fully and before they wanted to make some impact among all by introducing this new contest of giving away one month's salary for all those who register now and answer a simple question.Shine.com is a new yet to be launched job portal from the HT Media (Hindustan Times Media). To mark its launch and make it popular they have introduced this contest of chance for all those who register at their job portal during the Beta period by giving away one month’s salary on a daily basis.
To elaborate this offer, to avail it, all you need to do is visit their site Shine and register there for free and upload your resume there. After doing so you need to answer a simple question that follows and that’s all. If you are lucky on that given day you might be that elusive lucky winner to win that one month’s salary for that day. They are also currently running a salary survey which once you finish it successfully you are also will be eligible for the prize of one month's salary.
Shine.com is giving away this one month’s salary to a winner on a daily basis. Apart from this they are running a bumper prize where you will be even eligible to win a year’s salary at the end of the contest period.
To be eligible for this contest, you should be at least 18 at the time you register there and should register and submit your resume at the appropriate place given. You can only participate only once no matter how many different e-mail id you use.
The one month’s salary is calculated on the total of basic salary plus dearness allowance plus fixed monthly allowances for which you need to show proof of it. For freshers with no experience at all, the salary is calculated as Rs. 5000 fixed.
If you are the eventual winner of the contest, you need to provide your identity proof and address proof and date of birth proof by way of various government documents like PAN card, ration card, etc. to claim the prize.
Also remember that this is just a contest and not all those who participate will win and the winner is chosen by Shine through a draw or any other method that was devised or fixed by them.
This contest will run through from March 26th to April 21, 2008.

I didn't find any option of uploadin the resume. By resume, did you mean the 3-4 pages of questionnaire they had posted?
Yes, it is what they might be meaning of submitting the resumes. Just follow all the instructions to register and that's all you are done to be eligible to win a month's salary from Shine.com
I think all this hype was just to generate some heat. Don't think they paid anything to anyone.
