TripAdvisor, after their iMint offer has announced another new offer where you can get free 1000 Rediff Shopping Points which is said to be worth Rs. 1000. The same of which you can later redeem at Rediff Shopping for any product of your choice. To get it, all you have to do is to write reviews about the hotels that you have stayed or experienced their service in anyway. Since 1 shopping is worth Re. 1, it translates as up to Rs. 1000 directly. You can with either Rs. 100 shopping points or Rs. 500 shopping points or Rs. 1000 shopping points from Trip Advisor just by writing reviews.
I have shared some tip on getting those shopping points even if you have not stayed in so many hotels (7 or more) that is required to be eligible for this offer, do read it below.
Shopping Points Structure:
To be eligible to get the free Rediff shopping points, just login to TripAdvisor and start posting hotel reviews. If you can write only 1 to 2 hotel reviews, then you are eligible to get Rs. 100 Rediff Shopping Points and this is just like a gift voucher and you can buy anything at Rediff Shopping and use these points to get off Rs. 100 from your shopping value.
Likewise if you can write 3 to 6 hotel reviews you will win Rediff shopping points worth Rs. 500. But this can be redeemed only for a minimum purchase of Rs. 750 at Rediff Shopping.
If you can write 7 or more hotel reviews you will get 1000 Rediff Shopping points which can be redeemed for a minimum purchase value of Rs. 1500. You would need to pay the balance other than Rs. 1000 (that you got as shopping points) just like you normally do at Rediff. These points are valid for one month since when you receive them.
You would need to choose the appropriate offer that you would like to redeem your review points at TripAdvisor as there are multiple offers currently being run like Jet Airways offer, IRCTC cash back offer, Cleartrip Offer, and finally the i-mint points offer. Just choose the Rediff Shopping offer and then enter your correct email ID to receive the appropriate points to redeem it later.
Only hotel reviews are eligible for this promotion and other reviews like restaurant reviews, attraction or destination reviews are not accepted by them.
Tips:
My tip would be that you can even write imaginary reviews (if you are well versed in writing) about various hotels found across India (but make sure that they are good to read and original) in order to receive these shopping points or any other promotion that is being run in place of hotel reviews.

What is the promo code ? No place to write it either., .

Sandeep, just register for Tripadvisor.in and login to your account and click on the tab which says write a review and choose the option "hotel" and then proceed with entering the hotel name and city and you will get the place where you can enter your hotel review there and all the other details you will need to fill in including choosing the which option you want to opt for,whether you want to avail free rediff shopping points or i-mint points, etc, you can choose them appropriately and submit and likewise do for all the reviews that you are going to submit during this offer period. And there is no promo code for this, just do as explained above to get the credits.
I did as u said. .I logged in and pressed the 'Write a review' tab and filled all the details and submit it, I come up with an error every time :

Did you enter the email id after selecting the Rediff option? there is a box that will open after choosing the rediff option and if i submitted without it, it asked for the promo code and when i entered the email id it worked... just try and let me know the same...
Oh yaa Its working fine now. .Actually , I did not mentioned the domain name i.e " @rediffmail.com " . .Just entioned the id. .Working fine for me now. .
