ICICI Bank Credit Cards has introduced a new program to earn rewards during this festive season, which mostly extends till December 31, 2008. It is called “Gifts for Stars” program. In which you will need to collect stars to get free gifts according to the starts you collect. The minimum stars that you will need to collect is five stars. If you could collect these stars during the offer period you could walk away with free gifts as mentioned by ICICI Credit Cards.To collect a minimum of five stars you will need to spend above Rs. 40,000 on your ICICI Credit Card. And over and above you will need to spend in the multiples of Rs. 2000 will earn you an extra star and you can earn up to and above 8 stars during this offer period. That is for every Rs. 2000 you spend above Rs. 40,000 you will earn one star.
The offer is valid only if you use your credit card on retail transactions only and not applicable if you use it in ATMs, etc. And is valid only to those who got a communication regarding the offer and not for all the ICICI Bank Credit Card holders. You might have received a brochure or offer info through regular post to the address in which you get your ICICI Bank Credit Card statements.
Your total retail purchase transaction either online or offline should cross Rs. 40,000 to be eligible for this “gifts for stars offer”. Only one gift can be availed during the offer period by a card holder and according to the slab in which he/she fits in.
If you could collect 5 stars you will get a 12 piece cutlery set. While for 6 stars you will get a dual time wrist watch. For 7 stars you will get a free Zeus Backpack. Similarly for 8 stars you will get a free Sempre Pearl set. If you could just be able to collect above 8 stars you will get Frank Leon his & hers watches.
You can also convert your purchases into interest-free EMIs and still be eligible for this offer.
As said above, this offer is valid from October 1, 2008 to December 31, 2008.

Hi. I have got the letter from icici rgd this offer. does it mean that I am eligible?. How to redeem the offer? Should i wait till December end & expect them to call me?

If you have received a letter regarding this offer with details then it means you are eligible for this collect stars and get rewarded offer. You don't have to do anything except for using your credit card on retail purchases as mentioned above to be eligible for this offer.

The offer is "not" applicable for transactions through ATMs.
